We keep watching for that first bumblebee to show it's appearance outside so we can officially go barefoot.
So yesterday I pulled out the bee unit study from the spring activity bundle by @homeandhavencommunity.
If you haven't already checked out their bundle, you really should. It is such a fun resource for preschool and elementary ages.
I figured what better time to learn about bees than when we are about to have them in our yard around our clover and trying to build nests on our front porch.
My four-year-old really enjoyed the activity sheets from this unit and, of course, all of the books about bees.
The books we chose to read for the unit were:
🐝 Are You a Bee? by Judy Allen (this one was a favorite!)
Bees are such an incredible creation and it was a lot of fun to learn so many new things about them!
